🌿DIY Mos cirkel🌿
Vorig jaar heb ik een mos cirkel gemaakt. Het was wel even een klusje, maar ik ben nog steeds blij met het resultaat. Voor wie ook aan de slag wil is hier de beschrijving.
Benodigdheden:
- Rond dienblad (of een los blad van een bijzettafeltje)
- Gedroogd mos, ik heb die van Mica decorations gebruikt. Deze is verkrijgbaar in verschillende kleuren. Voor mijn cirkel van 60 cm doorsnee had ik 16 doosjes nodig.
- Montage kit transparant
- Lijmkam
- Ophanghaakje
- Schroef om je mos cirkel op te hangen
Het meeste werk gaat zitten in het ‘schoonmaken’ van het mos. Tussen het mos zitten namelijk nog allemaal kleine blaadjes en dennennaalden en dat is precies wat je straks niet in je mos cirkel wil hebben. Dus neem de tijd en ontdoe het mos van alle rommeltjes.
Als je dit gedaan hebt maak je het dienblad schoon en smeer je het blad in met de montagekit en de lijmkam. Het is handig om niet in een keer het hele blad vol te smeren want dan blijft de kit nog wat soepel om het mos in te drukken. Druk het mos dicht tegen elkaar aan zodat je niks meer van de ondergrond ziet.
Als alle mos opgeplakt is laat je het een dagje drogen. Daarna bevestig je een ophanghaakje aan de achterkant van het dienblad en kun je hem aan de muur hangen.
Een paar weken later heb ik trouwens op dezelfde manier een cirkel gemaakt met plakjes van berkenstammetjes. Misschien verzin jij nog wel iets anders. Ik ben benieuwd.
